    PTR-200-PRL is an optical fiber recoater for applying polyimide coating to a stripped section of fiber. The system applies the polyimide resin, and then thermally cures it to form the recoat. Multiple layers of polyimide can be applied for increased coating diameters and higher reliability. The resulting recoated fiber has mechanical and thermal properties similar to the original polyimide-coated fiber.
